These apple pie jello shots are a horrendous green color, but are so, so good! Definitely one of my favorites. ๐
…but really how can you go wrong with Crown Royal & Jack Daniels.
I serve these at Thanksgiving, as they make a great dessert. They would also be perfect at a fall festival. ๐
They are made using the basic concept of how I make all my jello shots โ replacing the cold water called for in the instructions on the jello box with alcohol and/or other liquid.
WHAT YOU NEED
โข 3/4 cup Water
โข 1 small box Green Apple Gelatin
โข 1/2 cup Apple Cider
โข 1/4 cup Apple Crown Royal
โข 1/4 cup Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire
โข 5 4oz cups
โข Whipped Cream
โข Cinnamon Sticks
WHAT TO DO
[1] boil WATER
Pour water into saucepan. Place on stove over high heat. Bring to boil.
[2] add JELLO
Once the water is boiling, turn off the heat and pour in contents from the jello packet.
[3] STIR until dissolved
Using a fork or whisk, stir jello until it is dissolved โ usually about a minute.
[4] add APPLE CIDER
Let cool just slightly, then pour apple cider into jello mixture.
[5] add CROWN ROYAL
Next, add Apple flavored Crown Royal to jello.
[6] add TENNESSEE FIRE
Add Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire to jello mix. Stir.
[7] POUR into cups
Pour mixture into cups. I used 5 4oz cups. 4oz cups create a fairly large jello shot – which seems appropriate for dessert style jello shot.
[8] REFRIGERATE until firm and ready to serve
Place jello shots in the fridge until they are firm and you are ready to serve.
[9] GARNISH with whipped cream and cinnamon sticks
Just before serving, pile your jello shots up with whipped cream and place a couple cinnamon sticks on top.
[ENJOY!]
โฌ These are the cups I use most often โฌ
Please enjoy the apple pie jello shots responsibly.
