These apple pie jello shots are a horrendous green color, but are so, so good! Definitely one of my favorites.
…but really how can you go wrong with Crown Royal & Jack Daniels.
I serve these at Thanksgiving, as they make a great dessert. They would also be perfect at a fall festival.
They are made using the basic concept of how I make all my jello shots – replacing the cold water called for in the instructions on the jello box with alcohol and/or other liquid.
WHAT YOU NEED
• 3/4 cup Water
• 1 small box Green Apple Gelatin
• 1/2 cup Apple Cider
• 1/4 cup Apple Crown Royal
• 1/4 cup Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire
• 5 4oz cups
• Whipped Cream
• Cinnamon Sticks
WHAT TO DO
 boil WATER
Pour water into saucepan. Place on stove over high heat. Bring to boil.
 add JELLO
Once the water is boiling, turn off the heat and pour in contents from the jello packet.
 STIR until dissolved
Using a fork or whisk, stir jello until it is dissolved – usually about a minute.
 add APPLE CIDER
Let cool just slightly, then pour apple cider into jello mixture.
 add CROWN ROYAL
Next, add Apple flavored Crown Royal to jello.
 add TENNESSEE FIRE
Add Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire to jello mix. Stir.
 POUR into cups
Pour mixture into cups. I used 5 4oz cups. 4oz cups create a fairly large jello shot. I prefer a 2 or 3oz cup. But since this was a dessert style jello shot, the 4oz cups seemed appropriate.
REFRIGERATE until firm and ready to serve
Place jello shots in the fridge until they are firm and you are ready to serve.
GARNISH with whipped cream and cinnamon sticks
Just before serving, pile your jello shots up with whipped cream and place a couple cinnamon sticks on top.
