Wicked Watermelon Black Light Jello Shot Recipe
Wicked Watermelon! 💀🍉
If you’re looking for a fun party trick – serve these Wicked Watermelon Jello Shots that glow with a black light.
Do they really glow? Yes! …
However, each jello shot must be in close contact with the black light.
What makes them glow? The tonic water.
I balanced the strong flavor of the tonic water with two sweet alcohols.
WHAT YOU NEED
• 1 1/2 cups Tonic Water
• 1 – 3.93oz box Watermelon Jello (make sure it’s green jello)
• 3/4 cup Watermelon Vodka
• 1/2 cup Melon Liqueur
• 9 – 4oz cups
• Black light
WHAT TO DO
[1] boil TONIC WATER
Pour tonic water into saucepan. Place on stove over high heat. Bring to boil.
[2] add WATERMELON JELLO
Once the water is boiling, turn off the heat and pour in contents from jello packet.
[3] STIR until dissolved
Using a fork or whisk, stir jello until it is dissolved – usually about a minute.
[4] add WATERMELON VODKA
Let cool slightly, then pour vodka into jello mixture.
[5] add MELON LIQUEUR
Next, add melon liqueur
[5] POUR into cups
Pour mixture into cups. I like to use reusable silicone cupcake liners when I can. But, for the black light effect to show, you will need to use clear containers such as these: 4oz plastic cups with lids.
[6] REFRIGERATE until firm and ready to serve
Place jello shots in the fridge until they are firm and you are ready to serve.
Serve near a black light.
[ENJOY!]
