Additional Items for Creating your Best Event | Ridgetop Digital Shop

The printable decor and props are just one aspect of a successful event. Equally important are the supplies needed to put together those printables seamlessly. With the right supplies readily available, you can streamline the assembly process and devote more time to enjoying the festivities.

Listed below are a few products I use when crafting and working on projects. Just to keep the dialogue honest – I earn a small commission from Amazon if you purchase any of the items.

Paper

Typically the better quality the paper is, the better, brighter, and sharper your image will look when printed. Check out this post for more tips about choosing paper.

When printing homework and forms regular copy paper is perfect. But, I prefer this HP paper for printing party supplies such as straw flags.

Photo booth props and banners should be printed on something heavier than copy paper. I often use this Neenah brand cardstock.

I don’t use a ton of sticker paper, but when I do I use this one from Staples.

Paper Options

Photo Prop Handles

You need handles to go with your photo props and there are lots to choose from. These ones tend to be my go-to’s:

Cutting

There is a lot of cutting that happens with my projects. I use scissors, craft knives, circle punches, and paper trimmers.

String

Banners can be assembled with a variety of items including twine, string, or ribbon. I tend to use versions of this string:

Adhesive

Depending on the project, double sided tape, glue dots, hot glue, or a basic glue stick could be needed.
