2019 New Year’s Eve Banner

Looking for a quick backdrop for your New Year’s Eve photo booth? Here is a simple one using your cutting machine.

 

SUPPLIES

+ SVG files (available in the Ridgetop Digital Shop etsy shop)
+ Cutting machine such as a Cricut or Silhouette
+ 6 sheets of Medium to Heavy Weight Paper
+ String, 2 pieces about 8′ long

 

HOW TO

+ Open files in your cutting program. Cut files one at a time.
*note: I used 2 sheets of gold glitter paper to cut HAPPY NEW YEAR. The 2019 file was cut on 3 separate pieces of black card stock to get 9 die cuts . And, the stars were cut on metallic silver.

+ Weave one piece of string through each letter spelling Happy New Year.
*note: Depending on the type of string, it might be helpful to place a small piece of tape on the back of each flag to hold them in place.

+ Using the 2nd piece of string, weave on 2019 die cuts and the stars.

+ Hang banner using string ends to tie in place.
