A couple years ago I wanted a simple backdrop for photos during the holiday season. I created this budget friendly scene out of a sheet, lights, and paper snowflakes.
The idea behind this backdrop was simply that my kids cut snowflakes and we needed a place to hang them.
SUPPLIES
+ Paper snowflakes
+ White Sheet
+ Light Strands, white and/or blue
+ String
+ Tape
+ Tacks
SET UP
On one wall in our great room I have a piece of cork painted & hung for the kids art. This was the perfect spot to convert into a photo booth.
I took down the kids art & used thumbtacks to hang strands of white & blue Christmas lights from the cork. Over the lights I tacked up a white sheet.
To hang the snowflakes I first taped a few on a string. Then, I taped the strings of snowflakes to the ceiling.
That’s it. I didn’t have to buy a thing & it didn’t take long to put together.
TAKING PICS
Traditionally, photo booths are used for fun pics of friends and family.
But, nothing says you can’t use it to also take photos of your kids interests. In my case, I used the backdrop to take a photo of my son’s chicken he shows in 4-H and also his violin.
Happy Winter Days!
