There are so many options for this fun little scene. I just love that it gets to be fun, bright, and cheery. Here’s the version we created:

Candy Cane Forest

+ Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes
+ Little Debbie Christmas Tree Brownies

The Christmas Tree Cakes can stand on their own . But to get the brownies to stand, I placed a toothpick in the base of the tree and placed the other end of the toothpick into a large gumdrop. Next time I will add mini candy canes with the cakes and brownies.

Swirly Twirly Gumdrops

Mostly I simply placed a variety of gumdrops on the cart. But to create a few that were swirly and twirly, I squished two gumdrops together and formed a swirly column around a toothpick. Then, rolled the column in leftover gumdrop sugar. To get the column to stand the toothpick is placed in a large gumdrop. Next time I will use Sour Candy Belts, swirled up a skewer to create a swirly twirly feel.

Lincoln Tunnel

+ Marshmallow Twists
+ Mini Marshmallows

I found the perfect marshmallows at Home Goods to create the Lincoln Tunnel. I used them with mini marshmallows and toothpicks to form a tunnel shape.
