Bubbling Brew Jello Shot Recipe

🫧 Just in time for Halloween – a jello shot with a nod to a bubbling brew of snakes, eyes of newt, and a little magic. The bright colors give off a good witch vibe, but in the dark of night it can appear spooky if that’s more your style.

Making the jello is a cinch using minimal ingredients: boiling water to dissolve the lime gelatin, 7up to add a little bubbly, and vodka for zing. But the real fun of this jello shot are the toppings. The popping boba is a game changer and I will definitely be creating more jello that includes it.

WHAT YOU NEED

• 1 6oz box Lime Jello
• 1.75 cups Water
• 1 cup Vodka
• 1/2 cup 7up
• Green Popping Boba
• Gummy Worms
• Candy Eyes
• Colored Sprinkles
• 13 4oz cups

WHAT TO DO

[1] boil WATER
Pour 1.75 cups of water into saucepan. Place on stove over high heat. Bring to boil.

[2] combine JELLO & WATER
Pour contents from lime jello packet into mixing bowl. Add hot water. Using a fork or whisk, stir jello until dissolved.

[3] add 7up
Add 1/2 cup of 7up.

[4] add VODKA
Let jello mixture cool just slightly, then add 1 cup of vodka.

[5] POUR into cups
Pour mixture into cups, filling about 3/4 full.

[6] REFRIGERATE until almost set
Place jello in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

[7] add a little BOBA
Remove from fridge and place some popping boba into the jello before it is fully set

[8] REFRIGERATE until firm and ready to serve
Place jello shots in the fridge until they are firm and you are ready to serve.

SERVING

[9] top with BOBA & CANDY
When ready to serve, add a good layer of popping boba. Then, add a gummy worm, two candy eyes, and sprinkles.

for a non alcoholic version simply replace the vodka with 7up
