Blackberry Rum Jello Shot Recipe

Looking for something a little different than your typical jello shot? This Blackberry Rum Jello Shot will do the trick.

It’s good! You won’t find this combination at your local bar. The mix of blackberry gelatin, pineapple juice, and tasty liquors is perfect on a warm August night.

They are made using the basic concept of how I make all my jello shots – replacing the cold water called for in the instructions on the jello box with alcohol and/or other liquid.

WHAT YOU NEED

• 1 1/2 cups Water
• 2 small boxes Blackberry Gelatin
• 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice
• 1 cup Bacardi White Rum
• 1/4 cup Bacardi Rum Limón
• 1/4 cup Vanilla Crown Royal
• 10 4oz cups

WHAT TO DO

[1] boil WATER
Pour water into saucepan. Place on stove over high heat. Bring to boil.

[2] add JELLO
Once the water is boiling, turn off the heat and pour in contents from the jello packet.

[3] STIR until dissolved
Using a fork or whisk, stir jello until it is dissolved – usually about a minute.

[4] add PINEAPPLE JUICE
Let cool just slightly, then pour pineapple juice into jello mixture.

[5] add WHITE RUM
Next, add white rum to jello.

[6] add LIMON RUM
Add Bacardi Rum Limón to jello mix. Stir.

[7] add VANILLA CROWN ROYAL
Add vanilla flavored Crown Royal to jello mix. Stir.

[8] POUR into cups
Pour mixture into cups. I used 10 4oz cups.

[9] REFRIGERATE until firm and ready to serve
Place jello shots in the fridge until they are firm and you are ready to serve.
