For even more fun at your backyard movie night – set up a photo booth. I created a backdrop with a 50’s vibe. I just love the colors!
The backdrop is simple to put together. However, feel free to only add the pieces you want. There are 3 necessary items – the blue fringed curtain, the checkered tablecloth, and red ribbon. After that, it’s all bonus – mix & match in a way that is perfect for your event.
SUPPLIES & HOW TO
1 – Find a clear wall – can be inside or outside. Hang fringed curtain. I used blue painter‘s tape.

2 – Hang checkered tablecloth with painter’s tape at about the half way mark. You will probably need to cut the tablecloth or fold under one edge to make it fit.

3 – For a 50’s diner feel, add a strip of red ribbon separating the curtain and tablecloth. Again I used painter’s tape to attach the ribbon to the wall.

4 – Now for all the bonus pieces. Hang paper fans and tassels at the top of your backdrop to create a polished look.

5 – Print for free the Now Showing banner and Movie Snacks party circles.

6 – Also print the free Red Movie party circles. Then, make a marquee sign of the movie you are watching.

7 – One last tid bit – a strand of lighted stars along the red ribbon.

8 – That’s it. Now go enjoy your movie night!

This backdrop coordinates with the backyard movie night prop set:
